At the Bergvilla, a maximum of twelve guests share a natural swimming pond, a heated indoor pool, a Finnish panoramic sauna, and a spacious garden. This isn’t just a wellness area—it’s your private spa at the foot of the Alps.
The Natural Swimming Pond: Swimming Like in a Mountain Lake
Crystal-clear, chlorine-free water treated using purely organic methods, surrounded by wooden decks, wildflowers, and spots to lounge in the sun: Our natural swimming pond is the heart of the garden. A few peaceful laps in the morning, a refreshing dip after the sauna, or simply listening to the water lapping from your lounge chair—this is where summer comes alive.
And winter, too: When you take an ice bath in a natural pond, you’ll experience the invigorating effect of the cold water on your body and mind—a contrast that lingers long afterward.
The indoor pool: heated year-round, exclusively for hotel guests
On the top floor of the mountain villa is our light-filled indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling windows—offering a view to the south, across the garden, and out to the mountains. The indoor pool is heated year-round and available at no additional charge; comfortable loungers invite you to relax. In the morning before breakfast, after a hike, or on a rainy afternoon: the water is waiting for you.
The Panoramic Sauna by the Swimming Pond
Right on the shore of the natural swimming pond stands the bathhouse, featuring an outdoor Finnish sauna (80 °C), a cold-water waterfall shower, and a shower. Through the large panoramic window, your gaze wanders over the water, the forests, and—on clear days—all the way to the white peaks of the Alps. Afterward: a step outside, a breath of mountain air, perhaps a dip in the cold pond. On the veranda, you can enjoy the sunset in the evening air.
